Page to Doc (“the Extension”) helps you extract the main article from the webpage you are viewing and export it as Markdown or Word. This policy explains what data we access and what we do not do.
Data we access
When you click the Extension, it reads the current tab’s page content on your device to build an export. Image bytes are fetched only when needed for Word / ZIP embedding, and only if the browser allows it.
Data we do not collect
- We do not operate a backend server for this Extension.
- We do not upload your page content, exports, or browsing history to our servers.
- We do not sell or share personal data with third parties.
- We do not use analytics SDKs or advertising trackers in the Extension.
Permissions
- activeTab — read the tab you invoked the Extension on.
- scripting — run the article extractor in that tab.
