Page to Table Chrome Extension · Last updated: 2026-07-31
Page to Table (“the Extension”) helps you export HTML tables from the webpage you are viewing. This policy explains what data we access and what we do not do.
Data we access
When you open the Extension and scan a page, it reads table content from the currently active tab in your browser in order to preview and export it. Export files (CSV, Excel, JSON, Markdown, PNG) are generated on your device and downloaded locally.
Data we do not collect
- We do not operate a backend server for this Extension.
- We do not upload page content, exports, or browsing history to our servers.
- We do not sell or share personal data with third parties.
- We do not use analytics SDKs or advertising trackers in the Extension.
Permissions
- activeTab — access the page you are viewing when you use the Extension.
- scripting — run a short script to find and read HTML tables on that page.
These permissions are used only after you interact with the Extension.
Local storage
The current version does not store personal information in cloud accounts.
Children’s privacy
The Extension is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy when the Extension changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised accordingly.
